DEIDO was sold in 1979, becoming SAN GEORGIO III under the Greek flag. One year later she became AGIOS GEORGIOS III under the same flag, operated by Canopus Shipping SA (Andreas and George Kyrtatas). Her career ended in October, 1986 when she arrived at breakers in Aliaga, Turkey.
Pilot changeover and port health authority checks were under way when she was photographed in 1978 passing Gravesend on her way in to the Port of London’s Tilbury Dock from West Africa.
