Description:

Almost ready to float - and still no name. Not on the bow, not on the stern...
Maersk keeps its secret better than snake hides its legs (a saying from my country). Anyway, the wait should not be long, at this stage. Seen at DSME shipyard in Okpo, Geoje island.

One can see many pictures of Triple Es packed with containers, but still with couple of meters of waterline free. As for the market, it will prob'ly get worse before it gets better.

A-ha!

That's some tangible info! Thanks!

(And I think chances are the name contours are already welded on the hull, even if not painted yet. I tried to play with levels on the photo of the stern of the vessel, where I imagined I saw some longish traces - and "Matilde" may well be applicable...)

Thanks again, Herbert!

Hi Ruslan and Vlad,

I will put my money on MATHILDE MAERSK. The former MATHILDE was renamed GERDA MAERSK last week... we will see.

Regards,
Herbert

Thanks for your comment Ruslan.

Not sure I will be the one, but we will know soon enough, anyway. And No. 12 is being constructed next to her. And I will just miss Maribo when she arrives in Busan on Monday, April 14.
