It also depends on the lenght and type of the vessel.

In a lot companies is the advise/orders not to anchor in such conditions anymore because of the loss of anchors, which makes perfectly sense. Anchoring is only to a certin degree advisable to do above force 6 with the associated waves one might to have to consider to leave the anchorage
