Hey, look at this one. Sailed on her when she was named "Tigre" and left lay-up in Norway summer of 1984, down to Lisbon for drydock and then down to Fujairah anchorage, where we stayed until she was sold to the Greek.
Went onboard again in 1986 when she was purchased by Norman International and placed under Norwegian flag again as the "Happy Kari". Several cargos out from the Gulf and transfer to other vessels off Khor Fakkan. She was in a poor condition after the two years in Greek ownership, she never fully recovered from that. But so many memories :-)

Remember this was laid up at Holmestrand, close to my hometown of Sandefjord in the early eighties.

Greta post indeed! This ship was part of the fleet of secondhand tankers that John S. Latsis bought at rockbottom prices and then sold some years later to make a fortune.
