Description:

During arrival at Dusavik, Stavanger this happend, divers had no chance to remove the tyre and the only solution was dry docking and even there it took houers to remove it.

I never liked tyres as fenders :)

Hi,

When the tyre got stuck in the propeller the vessel started shaking a lot, I remeber looking up at the mast and I tought it would collapse for sure, but the engineers shut the engine down quikly to avoid damages.
After the tyre was removed all test showed that everything was working normal and there have been no problems later.

Great shot. One very hardy tough tyre in the wrong place at the wrong time.
