I remember this trio of ships very well. They all came to Montréal and the St.Lawrence Seaway several times. A larger ship in that fleet, the Fritz was Under arrest at Toledo, OH for several weeks until October 9 when she departed for Germany, perhaps for lay up. Previous to that, she had spent several other weeks at the Wilson Hill Anchorage in the St.Lawrence Seaway having mechanical problems.

A worthy photo to lead the "new" top three, a great piece of work, Rico. If my memory serves me well, Sofia was the first vessel I spotted on my first trip ever to Kiel Canal and Brunsbüttel back in 2007. Back then I even didn't have an idea what type of ship she was:-))

Thanks for your comment, also the Bulker Luebbert IMO 9415167, and the freighters Katharina IMO 9438573 and Serena IMO 9294977 lay up in Bremen. In the past the company had also problems to pay the sailors.
