As per wikipedia ship was, after examinations in Trieste, finally CTL and scrapped at Aliaga, Turkey, in Summer 2010. Regards Peter

After the time that the accident had happened off the coast of Istria (SW of Pula) Croatia,, shipyard Viktor Lenac was contacted for possible repairs of this ill-fated ship at the Rijeka based shipyard ..... however,, UND ADRIYATIK was towed from the position of the accident to Trieste, Italy ..... after that I lost any further info about her & now I read she is "dead".

Thank you very much Florian, yes luckily the ferry IKARUS PALACE was nearby.

Hi Mark,

great and interesting shot of this accident!

Luckily the ferry IKARUS PALACE (IMO: 9144811), which was nearby at the time of the accident (sailing from Greece to Venice) could rescue all crew members and the few passengers!
