Yes, this is a sort of game with TEU capacity. One vessel can get different figures just because they calculated with different way. Some carriers (like MSC) prefer to declare as maximum capacity as it can be, by their own opinion. But further figures for the same vessel may be changed considerably.

Wow, I totally missed this shot. That is spectacular. She will be arriving in Rotterdam coming Saturday (Jan 10). According to liner analysis company Dynamar (https://www.dynamar.com/publications/133) her "effective nominal capacity" (what!!!???) is actually 18,980 TEU vs the earlier announced nominal capacity of 19,100 TEU.

The gangway way will be Incredibly steep, I notice its not mid hull like the Triple-E & other new ULCV's.
