A lousy idea? Why, no, I don't think so, but it will be quite a short meeting I fear... So you should discuss serious matters in advance before things really take off I suggest:-))

Thanks Jens, you are right, at my age a Healthy New Year is worth much more than all the boring gifts under "the juletræ" (you got that :-)). BTW, I need your advice: for 2015 I plan to suggest to one of your fellow spotters on the banks of that river to meet at the aft end of the propeller shaft tunnel of Cap San Diego while she is sailing at 50 RPM. Would that be a lousy idea? Niels

Niels, what can I say? Most probably she couldn't wait to return to Hamburg because she somehow knew that such a charming and charismatic person or to keep it short that I was waiting for her at Bubendey Ufer:-))

Well, now that I am becoming older I more and more think that most things (and people) should not be taken too serious (though removing laughter lines is quite expensive, I can tell you)!

Now thank you for your compliment and your most kind and encouraging words! I really appreciate that:-)

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and above all Healthy New Year!

My best wishes for you,
Jens

ARTANIA in a hurry, Jens! Probably one of the most understated comments during 2014 on this site! According to the port history she made the Hamburg - Murmansk - Rotterdam trip i two days!! Or what :-)?
Apart from this a very nice shot. Thanks for your uploads during the year, - and maybe even more for your good sense of humour. Greatly appreaciated.

Hm, I agree with Michael, David, in fact I think she has a really nice a... err... stern:-)

Edit
comment

person
Well, compared to many other cruise liners, her stern is quite fine.

Edit

person
You were lucky Jens, the bow is much nicer than the stern;)

person
Ha ha... well, as I just mentioned in a comment to another photo;-) we had sunshine when they arrived. (Ok when I wanted to take the stern shot it was pouring already)...

Thank you for your kind comment!

Cheers,
