Water gets through the hatch cover of the hold №2, until the moment when the cargo in the hold does not begin to pop up and squeeze hatches holds overboard.

Hi Mikhail. Nice shot. Brings me a lot of memories when happen to me almost the same but in night time (2355 hrs. 21 Dec.1985) and in the Atlantic. I was Chief Mate too. This shot looks like my last fore deck view of my ship before going to the portside lifebot and abandon the ship. The weather was really bad. The difference ? the deck cargo and...no digital cameras or mobile phones...back in the 80s.

It was sad story.winter japan sea is terrible like bay of biscay.it keeps many ships sank in last some years
