Hi Peter,

Thanks for the comment, a request is in for the location, it is not my department.
However your suggestion via pm for Thamehaven might be a temporary solution and would be appropriate.
Kind Regards
Ken

Many thanks Ken for braving the weather to get the shot of the Munkebo Maersk.

Should there now be a "London Gateway" tag so that all future shots of the port can be accessed more easily? At the moment, they are a bit hard to hunt down as there isn't a common tag. Just a thought.

Kind regards
Peter

Thanks for the comment Jens, it was touch and go with the weather but the rain held off until the journey home.
It is a little forlorn in that part of the Thames but Sheep may safely graze in the foreground, also in that view it is difficult to visualise the river is a mile wide at that point.
Kind Regards
Ken

Adrian,Bob,John and Phil many thanks for the comments and no I didn't get my feet wet, it was touch and go with the rain but it held off and I caught it on the A2 home bound.

Kind Regards

A beautiful composition, Ken. I like the contrasting colors of the wintry landscape and the modern box giant. Somehow she looks a bit forlorn to me... while only 20 miles to the west 8.5 million people are going about their daily business:-)

Cheers,
Jens

Hi Ken,

Excellent long range shot of this historic arrival. I know you didn't get your feet wet on the marshes though. Also, as per Phil... I'm locked into the same office this afternoon but judging by the weather in the City right now an early visit was well advised.

Best Regards
John J.

Well done Ken. I would love to be at Canvey this afternoon to see her departure but, alas, at work.
