Ferry Sorrento en route from Palma to Valencia caught fire on 28/04/2015 18 nm SW of Dragonera island. Ferry left Palma at 11:50 LT with 150 passengers on board. Fire quickly turned into major one, with a lot of smoke. So far no casualties reported, only minor injures related to smoke inhaling.
Later name : RENTO, 2016/03.
Broken up since 22/03/2016 at Aliaga (TUR).

If the superstructure had melted, there would be nothing left. To me, that looks like a steel superstructure that has partially buckled after losing its load-bearing capacity due to heat.
