WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
This young lady was the reason I went to Nagasaki this weekend. I received the information that she was out of the dock, soon to start her sea trials. Photos and videos of Japanese shipspotters showed her along the pier at MHI's Koyagi shipyard, with comments full of excitement that she is finally getting ready.
So she went into the water.
And... didn't like it.
The rumor was she had "engine trouble".
You don't dock a vessel because of engine trouble. But you do in case of "propulsion trouble" or, in this case, azipods. So this is my guess. Whatever the truth, she's back in the dry dock, and this was how I saw her today.
I hope she'll stay on schedule for the start of her October maiden cruise.
