The Norwegian freighter "Star Bulk", 539 gross tonnes (IMO-Nr. 7411650) radioed at 9.2.2009 at 12.59 clock after flooding Mayday. Two men of the four-member crew were salvaged from a Sea King helicopter from Ørlandet the sinking ship, the other two were from a rescue helicopter, which was located just down the road from the offshore platform Heidrun to Kristiansund and been asked to help. The Seaking was at 13.45 clock on the ground to 14.03 clock the rescue was complete. Even during the salvage operation capsized freighter deep in the water, and the remaining sailors had to jump in the lake. All four were unharmed but rescued and brought to Kristiansund. The "Star Bulk" sank bow first into 100 meters of water before Frøya far from Titran. The lifeboat "Askerbæringen" which was leaked um13 clock from Smøla, met at 13.55 clock a spot and remained on standby until the ship after an hour had gone 900 meters off the coast at depth. The "Star Bulk" had earlier in Visneskalk south of Kristiansund on 9.2. running from two to four clock dredging. It was already once raced in Tustna due in 2006, but had been repaired after the rescue. Translated with a little help of google. Source: Tim S.
