Ship will have two anchors fwd, see the two hawse pipes...may be one aft. Chains are temporary moorings only! Remember: they have typhons over those places. But those chains must cause damages to the new paint and to the panama fairleads.

The hosepipes are still mty and she will have 2 anchors as usual. What you see/counted are anchors supplied by shipyard on a temp basis , as long she stays like this

Great picture !! How many anchors does a ship this size carry? I'm counting at least 6 !

Hi Vlad,

Indeed thanks again.

Accommodation design is typical Japanese see also the APL Latvia design from Koyo and the 'H-bridge' class from IHI for K-Line.
Besides that I don't fancy them very attractive with no f-castle at all.

Cheers,
Roy

Great shot Vlad as always, I like this design although the funnel could be nicer.
I see even the new MSC's from DSME have a fully enclosed bridge design.

Thanks once more Vlad, for your latest photos of the NYK duo. Always good to see new designs & the developing trend for fully enclosed bridges on VLCS'.
Regards, Rick
