|Berthed at Bremerhaven on a very dull and rainy day - but still attracting quite a bit of media attention: just as the donations-based "SEA WATCH"-project has done recently, AQUARIUS has been chartered for 3,5 months by another, similar organisation, to act as a refugee rescue ship in the Mediteranean.
More on the project on the organisation's homepage at http://sosmediterranee.org
After this day open to the public and media, she departed for Lampedusa via Marseille. AQUARIUS is expected due at Lampedusa on February 25th. Best of luck to them!

Hi Marcus, thanks a lot, weather wasn't at all good though. The project operating her is not the one named Sea Watch by the way, it's another organisation called SOS Mediterranee. My text was a bit misleading there... It'll be interesting to hear what they accomplish once they arrive off Lampedusa.

Hi Max, great shot and interesting to see her condition before she leaves Bremerhaven to Sea-Watch project.
best regards, Marcus
