Description:

A view from the roof of Hanjin foreigner's apartment building (good spot for ship spotting, provided the roof access door is open, and the watchman is not around) towards Daesun shipyard and the old ferry terminals (domestic on the left, international on the right, both closed nowadays, since the construction of the new ferry terminal). Two container feeders can be seen fitting out, "KMTC Laem Chabang" (IMO No. 9772230) and "Heung-A Laem Chabang" (whoever was responsible for those names must have had really good time in nearby Pattaya!), with "Blue Tsushima" (IMO No. 9108245) hidden behind the crane and "Red Star" (IMO No. 9032006, ex-Santa Cruz de Tenerife) to the right.

Yes, Lotte Department Store has a very good position, even if the roof itself could be more "ship spotter friendly", as it has glass screens that obstruct the direct view a bit, so you need to hold your camera rather high... :)

Interesting to see in the foreground two old ferries which made history in Europe...on the left one of the formerly HSC of Corsica Ferries, on the right one of the formerly night ferries for Canarias Islands of the Trasmediterranea Lines.

Thanks, William, I just forgot to put the IMO number of the "Heung-A Laem Chabang". :)
@Jan, I guess in today's market, like they say, "beggars can't be choosers"...

Funny theses days to see Daesun and Hanjin both built ships of 1,800 teu. On has up-sized and the other has down-sized.
