Thank you very much, David (davidships), for all your effort(s)..... thus, the provided information with the listing of the particular deficiencies/non-compliance is much interesting, especially to me, in this case!
Remaining with kind regards /Jadran

Don't know why this part didn't appear (probably some punctuation that the software doesn't like). Also note that for the whole fleet of Mediterranean Navigation Co, Beirut there have been nearly 300 PSC inspections - they nearly all have long lists of defects, and as many as 10% lead to a detention.

11 Defects:
Emergency Systems - Muster list - Incomplete
Emergency Systems - Emergency, lighting,batteries and switches - Insufficient
Safety of Navigation - Charts - Expired
Safety of Navigation - Nautical publications - Not updated
Labour Conditions - Conditions of employment - Calculation and payment of wages - Missing
Water/Weathertight condition - Cargo & other hatchways - Damaged
Fire safety - Fire fighting equipment and appliances - Not as required
Water/Weathertight condition - Railing, gangway, walkway and means for safe passage - Damaged
Labour Conditions - Accommodation, recreational facilities, food and catering - Provisions quantity - Insufficient
ISM - ISM - Not as required
Certificates & Documentation - Crew Certificate - Manning specified by the minimum safe manning doc - Missing

Hi Daniel,, thank you for your lovely comment ref. the *old* crane that is seen on this photo,, and for your information,, that crane was built in 1957 and manufactured by Ganz from Hungary;
Very best regards,
Jadran

Actually this guy is walking on shifting salt!
Ho... how I love that crane! Remind me of the one driven by Captain Haddock in the crane battle as seen in Tintin movie: Le Secret De La Licorne.

Jadran, so far as the detention is concerned, Paris MOU shows following in relation to the 7-day detention at Pula on 28/6/2016:

Yeah indeed, Volker my *old* friend, good memories ! :-)..... when it comes to me, I well remember 1976, as the year when, at the Sales department of VLS, I had independently worked-out my very first Bid: it was for lengthening of a Danish ferry (Ropax);
Cheers, Volker my friend... keep *young* !!

Confusion may have arisen because she originally had cell guides. These were removed some time ago and her deadweight was remeasured to 4,846 tonnes on 6.39 m SSW draft. There may have been further remeasurements, but I don't have these documented.

@ Henning and David (davidships)
That's very interesting, however, it's very disappointing to hear such bad news i.e. DETENTION.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM (what are her actual "defaults/deficiencies and/or non-compliance" currently involved) ?

Nonetheless,, when shall I see her again ?? ..... I'm still obliged to deliver a *present* of mine to the crew onboard ......... hehe

Kind regards /Jadran

@ NeilB

Hello Neil... I recognize that we have now the following various data exhibited on this thread:
Gross tonnage website says: DWT 3,860 tones;
Fleetmon website says: DWT 4,822 tones;
Official report of the unloaded cargo at port of Bakar says: 5,107 tons;
Vessel finder says that the MAX draught is 5,5 m;
Vessel finder also exhibits her current draught of 6,8 m;
Vessel finder says: L.o.a = 90 m;
Other websites say: 100 m;
OMG what a confusion!

I WOULD BE CURIOUS TO LEARN what are her ACTUAL/EXACT technical data, in fact, which one(s) are correct !!
Can anybody assist more on this indeed puzzling issue !?

Kind regards /Jadran

She has stayed clear of all EU ports since her detention at Pula in 6/2016.

You want see her in Croatia for some time again. Banned for 12 month by Crotian authorities for multiple detentions till at least mid 2017

Hello Jadran, interestingly the "Fleetmon" website shows her DWT as 4822 tons. While "Vesselfinder" shows her max draught as 5.5m and current draught 6.8m (!). But on an l.o.a. of 90m compared to most sites length of 100m. We can each draw our own conclusions.

Regards, Neil

Hi Emmanuel,, that salt is the "industrial" salt and is not eatable (as the usual known additive to food), and also, it is of much larger granulate than the usually known "domestic" salt.

That unloaded salt from the ship,, will be used on the Croatian roads (and I also believe on the Hungarian roads) during the winter time, when it is necessary, to prevent ice layer(s) on the roads.
Hope to have assisted with this explanation/clarification.
Very best *winter* regards /Jadran

Hmmm, more than 5000 tons of salt is more than "a pinch of salt", is all that salt for industrial use or is it the variety you use in cooking?
Keep them coming Jad.
