Description:

Shipspotting location at Lisbon, Portugal.
Cristo Rei Monument park (National Sanctuary), Tejo river South bank at Almada area.
Late afternoon shot. A nice place to do spotting from the sea side up to the inner area (Tejo river) of Lisbon port and terminals alongside both banks. Better at the afternoon ( beautiful sun )
Better at Full screen (for 2048 pix)

Hi Csaba. The same happened to me. When I was at sea we docked there for 23 days in 1979 ( my last time at Lisbon ) and back after almost 37 years in Nov. 2016. So a lot of changes for better and even more beautiful and nice city than before. A lot to see at the sea-river side. Thanks a lot for your kind comments.

Hi Marc. Lisbon its beautiful. Specially in the afternoon with nice sun and good weather you can shot huge panoramic photos. By the way you will need to come really far, far South down to Tenerife, Canary islands...for a couple of beers and talk...jejeje. Well my friend, thanks a lot for your kind comments.

Beautiful shot. I remember this place from long time ago. After some 25 days at sea, I walked out into this park and very much enjoyed the smell of freshly cut grass, flowers and other plants, listened to the wind in the tree branches.
Cheers...
