Oh sorry, my spelling... if refoating doesn't work, maybe they try to refloat her.

Ok, she's a wee bit smaller than CSCL Indian Ocean, aground on the Elbe in February 2016, but this photo is far more impressive than the photos back then!

Hope you can keep us up-to-date with the refoating attempt(s)...

Hi Husni,I think this vessel run aground at high tide this morning. And frankly speaking, most of Europe estuary ports are not designed for these ULCS, ship handling at Antwerp or Hamburg should be taken very carefully, there are no rooms to make any mistakes

So she cant catch the hight tide at day time?why not shifting to anchorage fm berth to wait sufficient tide for departure. In Balikpapan also tidal port, after vsl completed loading she will sail out or shift to inner anchorage depends on tide and pilot confirmation thru agent.Draft less than 11 mtrs can sail any day time

Great photo!Breaking news to world shipping industry!
I think it's very difficult to refloating this boxship. The grounding seems to be happened at high tide, and the grounding speed is too fast. It's very hard to unloading the box from this ship, too high to take the box.The tide will continue to push the vessel to the ground....
