built 1944 for Kriegsmarine as KFK 631 by Burmester, Swinemuende, Germany
(yard no. 388) No. V5537;
May 1945: surrended and later transferred to German Mine
Sweeping Administration (GMSA);

During WW II, a total of 1,072 of these Kriegsfishkutter (KFK) vessels were ordered;
610 were commissioned; during operations 199 were lost;
10 of these vessels were re-commissioned into the Bundesmarine as W1 to W10 (Jul 1956);
and with West German Border Guard (Mar 1957)
the remaining KFK vessels were transferred on war reparations;
147 to USSR; 156 to US and 52 to UK;

Thanks heizer. this vessel built for Kriegsmarine was surrended in May 1945 and subsequently put to work for German Mine Sweeping Administration.
