Hi, I would guess as follows : from top 3 D E
but not 100% sure for "3"
Might be used for indicating the number of the berth they are going to

Shot full of interest.
What is the hoist next to the pilot flag?Assume the forrard hoist is her signal letters.

I heartily agree 'though I've been known to post the odd Bow-on shot myself!

I see that the it's listed under the category "lifeboats and tenders". Compared to pictures of ships bows, dominantly with a huge bulb, categorized as "whole" ship. I can enjoy both types of pictures, are these rules / standards cut in stone?

It's a great picture here, please keep it here...

Probably best to just leave it for admin to decide

Agree with Bob. While it is a nice shot, it is part ship. I don't think we have "superstructures" category yet :-)

Amazing now how many views of this photo ;) lol

its' an excellent side view of the ship's accommodation. My father sailed on it, which is why i am currently building a scale model of it. It will help me a lot for the details.

I question only the bending of the site's rules: no part-ships.
Fergal Clohessy on Jul 09, 2018 14:42 (7 months ago)
Bob, why question others opinion?
adenanthos on Jul 09, 2018 14:35 (7 months ago)
But this one gives a stunning view of the superstructure.

@Bob,personal taste......

What's 'incredible' about this 'bit of a ship' photo? There are nine other good pics of this interesting old ship on the site - all of which comply with site standards

Incredible photo @Chris.
