Oh, I have travelled a few times with this old lady to Helgoland, she can certainly handle rough sea, - which not can be said of all her passengers.

No one knows.

She was replaced in 2016 by a newbuilding on the Cuxhaven - Heligoland route and sold to Greece. It seems that after her arrival at Kissamos in 2017 nothing much has happened. She's been lying there for the last two years...

Nektarios, thanks for the info. Right now I think we should keep the name Atlantic in the title to avoid confusion, but I will ask for a final decision in the admin forum...

Thank you all for this information - unfortunately it seems really like, that it's time to say "goodbye"...

Actually i just found out that she is registered as ATLANTIS in Piraeus Registry (off. no 12463). Call sign SVA7473. As it turns out, the name ATLANTIC is unofficial.

By the way... The euphoria of seeing your photos made me forget that she's not the AtlantiS anymore. She's the AtlantiC (I've changed the title of your photos accordingly).

Oh yes, she would be splendid as a yacht. Unfortunately I've not the means for such an investment... :-(

Hi Jens, Yes it is a pity to see such a fine looking vessel end its days in such a way. With a bit of investment it would make someone a nice private motor yacht.

Thank you very much for this update. Great set of photos of my favourite "booze cruiser" (not because of the booze though!). As it seems she's been sitting there for the last two years... not a good omen I fear.

Best wishes,
Jens
