A very dangerous situation could ensue if a fire breaks out on a vessel in the midst of this chaotic berthing quays. More serious safety measures must be taken in case something similar happens,

Thank you all for your comments. Emmanuel, I only saw the quay when I looked at the enlarged photo on my screen - otherwise it would have been just too chaotic! :)

Pic of the month !!

Emmanuel, the photo was taken from the observation deck of "Lotte" department store - they've made a nice park on the roof, together with wood covered deck, allowing for very nice views of Busan North port. The height is is approximately 60 meters. Btw. they wanted to build the world's tallest skyscraper next to it, but the works stopped as soon as they have learned that the Burj Khalifa would be much too tall...
Who knows, maybe they will complete it one day...
Cheers

Is this normal or is it for some sort of occasion?

Grazie, Alfredo.
Non ho mai visto così tanti rimorchiatori tutti insieme.
(I've never seen so many tugs together.)
Only in Busan, Korea. :)

How do the crews get ashore or how do they get provisions?. I think they should print your photo, Vlad as a sport of map to get to their respective vessel. And I thought that the inner harbour at Marsa,Malta was packed....

Thank you all for your comments. I spotted Waldo, if only with Jim's help... :)
Rick's comment had me in stitches (although the idea did cross my mind, and was dismissed only due to scant remains of my professional and social life not giving me enough time for the task). :)

Fabulous! A superb image Vlad.
However, you could have listed them by name - in Korean and English, plus IMO's and builders details.
