Did they actually pay Money for this S--T!!!!!!!
Henning Brauwers on Oct 03, 2020 11:52 (26 days ago)
I would say that they did it this way because it was the easiest way to have the scrubber pre-fabricated ashore and the installation was basically 1 single move with a floating crane. It was done sometimes in 2019.
Sending her to Alang would be a bit premature.

@MattB: My namesake was in Star Trek, not Star Wars

Sorry Denis, but the consensus seems to be that, in tackling the "No Smoking", they did not "Do It Right".
If it was that polluting, perhaps a premature voyage to Alang was the only alternative.

Those standing on that humble yacht, witnessing the never before witnessed: "Good gracious...", as they slowly take their hats off in awe.
MattB on Oct 02, 2020 18:02 (27 days ago)
....more importantly, what would Mr Scott think? (For any Star Wars fans out there)
MattB on Oct 02, 2020 18:01 (27 days ago)
I wonder what the Chief Engineer thinks ?
adenanthos on Oct 02, 2020 12:52 (27 days ago)
Especially because it stands on stilts.
Steady Eddie on Oct 02, 2020 08:48 (27 days ago)
That thing spoils the whole ship :(
ged frith on Oct 02, 2020 08:13 (27 days ago)
Hope it blows off in a hurricane..

Did the architects who designed such a thing see what this hideousness looks like?
Graham Moore on Oct 02, 2020 02:13 (27 days ago)
That really looks like some weird alien spaceship is about to land on the ship. That blue colour makes me think they should have painted it to look like the Tardis. (For any Doctor Who fans out there.)
brand on Oct 01, 2020 20:32 (28 days ago)
Looks ugly, but more importantly that it does what it is intended to do.
adenanthos on Oct 01, 2020 20:16 (28 days ago)
Ridiculous !
Dеnis on Oct 01, 2020 18:50 (28 days ago)
Hopefully it's done alright...
