Thanks Hannes for for your explanation It makes me think, now we talk about a skeleton crew, how to get 5000 plus passengers and crewmembers disembark in an emergency. Sail to the nearest Cruise Terminal?

And more, Hannes, the Heerema terminal is currently taken up by two of their crane ships.

There are no facilities in the Caland Canel or Maasvlakte to disembark this ship. (Gangway problems) Therefore she has to go to the Cruise Terminal.

I know that Pieter but my question was why sail to the city center Was there no place some where at the Maasvlakte ore Caland Canal

Because you cannot change the crew and bunker the ship in open sea at the same time...

Why going all the way to the cruise terminal for bunkering

You're right Brett, she hasn't sailed with paying passengers yet.

Nice photo @Hannes, correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think she has sailed with fare paying passengers since she was launched ?
