Moin Volker, many thanks for your comment. A Kempenaar is a vessel type with the dimensions 50m x 6,60m x 2,50m having a tonnage up to 600 tons. This type was tailormade for the canals in the southern parts of the Netherlands and the northern parts of Belgium, later versions were slightly longer with an increased tonnage.
