General Cargo Services' 1963 Lithgows, Port Glasgow, built NURJEHAN, which was delivered to the P&O Group's New Zealand Shipping Company and operated by Hain-Nourse between 1968 and 1972, sailing from Liverpool exactly fifty years ago today, on 19th May 1974, bound for Glasgow to commence loading cargo for Persian Gulf ports.
