The Owners/Managers of this specialized ship are Messrs. SEALIFT INC, Oyster Bay, NY; a private owned shipping company; all their ships fly the USA flag.
This ship is mostly engaged for the service to the Military Sealift Command (USA).

The white "hangars" are called by the Company (the COCOONS) and are inside fully air conditioned to obtain micro-climate conditions for transport of ammunition and/or other explosive materials/devices.
