There is your answer my friend Jens, (a bit late,6 years, but better late than never),from coaster watcher confirming the date.I took that photo 41 years ago, wow ,time surely flies , I was only 34 years old , I remember this ship very distinctly being Austrian reg. Austria being a landlocked nation.
May I take this opportunity to wish the best of Christmas and the new year 2020 to everyone on the site.
regards

The date of the photograph is correct. According to Lloyd's Register, she was renamed ANNY in 1976, AMANDA 1 in 1977, and KENYA in 1982.

Hi Jens, that particular photo was a slide and the slide and the box are dated 1978. Even my old note book confirms this date.some confusion somewhere.

Hi Emmanuel, wonderful photo of this Sietas type 63. One question, are you sure about the date you captured the photo?

According to my information she was AMANDA I between 1972 and 1976 (Homeport Vienna since 1974) and for a short period in 1982.

Cheers, Jens
