The 1946 Bartram, Sunderland, built, Nicaragua flag, VELTA was here photographed by Mike Lennon at Gibraltar early in 1971.

VELTA sadly soon foundered - on 13.2.71 during a voyage from Macapa (Brazil) to Bilbao with a cargo of manganese ore
