thanks infos,, I heard something before,,but never was clear what went on. I knew however that TuH was only existing still because of the grace of the banks, already way before 2014.

Yes - Thien & Heyenga, Chr. F. Ahrenkiel and MPC Steamship became Ahrenkiel Steamship in 4/2014, under the MPC Group banner. TuH no longer exists as a commercial entity.

Hi Capt Ted,

yes, it is the "Stadt Gera" from TuH, but Equasis gives as Owners "Ahrenkiel". Probably TuH has been dissolved completely now.

the reason I made that comment was because this ship has a TuH name (all their ships start with Stadt (City) and then a german city like this GERA. But they do not have the TuH funnel, that seemed odd to me.
I know the TuH funnel , I worked 3 years for them on mainly reefer ships which they had employed in the Seatrade pool.
