The Russian motor fish factory "Gorizont" sank following a collision with the Moroccan motor vessel "Ifni" in the English Channel about 20 miles south of the Isle of Wight in lat. 50°13'N long 01°13'W, on November 24, 1975. Her crew was rescued. The "Ifni", which was on her maiden voyage, put into Le Havre with hull damage.
