Description:
The 1964 Vismar built Poet Class Liner IVAN FRANKO of the Black Sea Shipping Company seen at an unknown location sometime between 1975 and 1992.
Extensively rebuilt in 1975, she proved immensely popular under charter to Western Bloc countries in the 1970s and 1980s. She was transferred to the Ukrainian flag in 1992 following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and was decommissioned in 1997. Renamed FRANK and sold to Polluks Shipping, she arrived at Alang, India to be beached and scrapped on July 21st, 1997.
