Hi Allan

Nice photograph from the South side of the Tyne - sun was a bit of a problem for photography today, although it was the mist/fog this morning when she was inbound :-o

I see from the Port of Tyne Schedules that she is the Alexander von Humboldt II although her name on Hull and Stern do not bear this out?

Regards

Steve Ellwood

Hi Steve,

The sun was a problem, so much so that it was quite a waste of time photographing up river towards McNultys as she was heading up river to do her swing round.

She's a nice looking vessel.

A very short stay indeed for the ship. Not much time for passengers to taste the delight of Geordieland.

Cheers

Allan
