Beautiful shot José, I suppose has been taken from the road between the shelter dock Barrié de la Maza and the Torre de Hércules light house, I have studied in La Corunna Nautical School in the '64 to '68 so I know how is the harbour entrance to La Corunna in winter with NW gales. I belive you have a good telephote lens.
Congratulations

Fantastic shots as storm pics, Jose´.

Shaun Smit Millne: No chopper!! Probably not easy to be picked up by helicopter. But strong hull, no open hatches, engines running and a god captain and crew will be safer, even if the waves are stormy.

And what would have completed all beautifully would have been a shot of her safe and sound.

Dreaming here.

Outstanding shots Jose.

Here is the thing as I see it..

In order to get to "shelter' the ship has to get through this maelstrom first. It's like a test for Captain and Crew....and ship.

Probably most thought provoking shots ever.

IMHO..captures of the Year. The whole series is deserving of all the attention it has received.
