So fantastic she was saved from scrap. Withing her all the best in Italy. I was working om her when she was "Mette Mols" for more than 13 years

Thanks Luca, hope she will return to Malta sometime in the future, maybe for dry docking where she has been lately renovated.
Thanks and regards Luca, hope someday we see you in Malta for a short holiday.

Surely I will, Emmanuel. If she will pass from Elba in the future (maybe during the winter...).
By now it seems that she will work between Livorno and Sardinia.
The ship left Malta a couple of hours ago, destination: Livorno. Her new life is starting....

Regards.

Sorry Phil, I wrote Disney ,as I was informed without checking if the characters are Disneys, Warners, Paramount etc. Yes some agreement there must be with Warners as these cartoons are copyrighted. Thanks and regards.

Yes, well done Emmanuel for keeping us informed of the ship's progress at Valletta. The cartoon characters are actually Warner Bros (not Disney) and I suspect that Moby Lines has some sort of agreement with Warner to paint them on the ship's side. Whether that amounts to sponsorship, I'm not sure.

Thank you Emmanuel for all the set of pictures. Moby Kiss will be in the Mar tirreno next June 30th.
You gave us all the opportunity to have a view of this "old lady" during all the process of "resurrection".
Thank you very much and regards, from Elba Island.

Hi Clive , there is a rumour around that her overhaul has been sponsored by none other than Disney Corp. Mind you just rumours, which I find a bit too difficult to comprehend. Thanks for your positive comments.regards.

Spot on Jadran, the very same place.I try to park when I find in the shade of the bastion in the mornings, but in the afternoons, the sun is usually in the lens when shooting straight across, so usually I only stay there till dinner time at around 11.45am. regards.

It won't come as a surprise to anyone that I really dislike her hull art but it has been so interesting to watch this ship, having been hauled back from the breakers yard, slowly being restored to commercial service. You have supplied us with great pictures, especially these of her now ready to return to the sea.
