Thank you everybody! We had a couple of cold days here in Helsinki. The sea was still free from ice and "boiling" sea scenery was just fantastic in January morning low light.. Hopefully admin won't delete this one - hey what can one do if nature covers the ship with smoke ;) ! Cheers!

That picture is simply ... wow!
Brings back a whole bunch of winter memories from Helsinki.
And i agree with Denis, Jens and Vlad: it won't be easy to top this during 2017.
All the best,
Stefan

Mentioning of the great John Carpenter's movie is very fitting here!
But the photo is in the wrong category, I think... Oh, wait, there's still not a category by the name "Mind blowing"...
(And, yes, ship photo of the year already.) :)

Cheers

Vlad

I say this is a perfect promotional photo for a 2017 remake of John Carpenter's THE FOG :-)

And yes, this photo gets 10/10!

THE FLYING FINN! :D
Really, my English isn't good enough to make an essay fully & truthfully describing how amazing both of these photos are! A ship photo of the year already?

WOW....!!!!! This is surely the most exciting and dramatic picture on this entire site. Even though she is arriving in a freezing morning one could well imagine that she is the ship to hell....!!!!
