Leak in turbo charger.
On Feb 20, 2018, at 1.42 p.m. the "BBC Switzerland", which had sailed from Hamburg on Feb 19 at 8 a.m., suffered a leak in the turbo-charger 34 nautical miles north-east of Ramsgate harbour, in pos. 51 38.21N, 02 11.83E. The Dover Coastguard,was notified. At 5.49 p.m. the crew of the "BBC Switzerland" had affected repairs, and the ship was en route to Zeebrugge for an engine overhaul. She berthed at the Container Handling Zeebrugge on Feb 21 at 5.10 p.m.(source: Vesseltracker.)
