Description:

VALGA, photographed in the Nieuw Waterweg on 15.9.66, was built at Chicago and delivered in 1917 to A/S Dana,Copenhagen, as DANEBROG. In 1924 she became SCANDIA and in 1934 MAIA. Miramar does not reveal the year that the ship was acquired by the USSR and renamed VALGA, as which she survived until broken up in Russia during 1970
