Inbound to Fremantle WA 25/9/1979
One of Mr. Rashid Fares' earliest acquisitions was the former Lloyd Triestino passenger liner ASIA 53/11693. After purchase in 1975 the ship was converted to a livestock carrier for operations between Antipodean ports and the Middle East. Her gross registered tonnage was eventually reduced to 8752.

These are fantastic photos, it's no wonder Mr.Fares never named any of these after himself. I'd expect him to name them after his mother-in-law!!.
Do the minders (stockmen),wear drizabones, akubras and have blue healers.
