The event was announced several days earlier in the media, and started right on the scheduled time. I was in place at the eastern end of the Cahill Expressway. It took about 50 shots to get this one and several close ups of individual aircraft.

Top shot Clyde, very rare for the blackhawks to hover over a ship at the passenger terminal, Circular Quay and you caught them both with an excellent view of the Volendam. Good on the Volendam's Captain for allowing them to hover over the vessel. My vote for photo of the year from Sydney Harbour! Well Done to the 6th Aviation Regiment and the crew of the Volendam. Excellent picture Clyde.
