It is very strange that she is listed in Lloyds Register 1983, as she was built in 1985. Anyway, she was sailing as a self-discharging bulk-carrier until 1992. That year she was lenghtened and rebuilt into a rock-dumping vessel at Kristiansand. Also called a Flexible Fallpipe-vessel, as Christian mentioned.

Equasis show her as a Pipe Bury Vessel, Lloyds register 1983 shows her as a Bulker, so you pays your money and takes your choice.

It is one of those difficult ones but as we use Equasis as our guide I feel it should stay as it is.

She's a "rockdumping" vessel, classified as bulker. The official name of these kind of vessels is "Flexible Fallpipe Vessel", used for covering pipelines etc. So she's not a cable- or pipelayer vessel.
