That's OK. I just didn't want anyone to be misled, relying on webpages which are not quite accurate or up to date. The best guides to ship sizes and classes can usually be found in current textbooks or reports written by shipping professionals.

That's a rather misleading link Bjorn. Leaving the "coastal tanker" aside, the definition being totally inept, Aframaxes are not approx 80,000 dwt. Modern aframaxes are usually in the region of 110,000 - 116,000 dwt. However, those opering in the refined products trade often reduce their DWT to just under 80,000 tonnes for operational purposes.

That's because she's not an AFRAMAX. She's 151,848 dwt, which makes her a SUEZMAX.
