the "Siranger" was a type of ship i allways wanted to see with my own eyes, so this was a treat. And luckily for me: The weather as fine that day.

A mess indeed, sad stuff really, but you know me, i am happy that both companies still call her once in a while. Siranger looked pretty sharp, got shots of her inbound as well, but got the light all wrong.

Aaaah, a photo showing a vessel from my old company; I was a newly educated 2.mate on MOLDANGER in 1976. Westfal-Larsen had at that time the chemical tankers in co-operation with Odfjell, and their interests in Star Shipping. And then my odd vessels, the Panamax-bulkers BERGANGER and MOLDANGER.
Nowadays it is all ended up in a mess; Westfal-Larsen is out of Star Shipping, and according to Norwegian newpapers; they are sueing each other. Anyway, Star; according to last rewiev, has a prosperous fortune. What Westfal-Larsen is going to do is uncertain,but they say; no more Star.
Well, it is up to everybody to decide; I think the vessel look the same if it have a STAR in front of the name
