Description:
FORTUNE Y., photographed arriving at Liverpool on the thundery evening of 2nd June 1982, had been owned by John Yannios of Piraeus between 1980 to 1983. She put into Malta on 24 November 1982 and was purchased the following year by Hong Kong interests who renamed her SABINE but soon sold her to Pakistan breakers - she was beached at Gadani on 10 March 1984.
The ship was built at Osaka in 1959 as TOWA MARU and sold to Greece in 1971, trading as IOANNIS A. until 1980.
