Russian nuclear command ship "Ural", being laid up for many years at navy base Abrek bay, near Vladivostok. Built by Baltiyskiy shipyard, made only one voyage. Presently scrapped

Simply ship proved to be very expensive and country was near collapse at that time. Due to lack of fund she was laid up for many years. There were many plans how to use ship, all failed. And during 2010 she was scrapped at Bolshoy Kamen, Russia

Only one voyage?? sound increible. Great Photo. It call my attention all the comunications antennas. Great Photo.
