She was originally ordered by Stena Line for their "Super Nightferry" service from Kiel to Gothenburg but this one was cancelled before completion after the Poles ran out of money and had fallen way behind schedule with her construction.

This is the "cruise ship" at Kos as a registration venue for refugees. Actually a roro ferry with overnight accomodation for the Greece-Italy routes. Interestingly Lloyds Register indicates that she was launched in 1984 & completed in 1992 as BONANZA
