Around 2003 if I remember correctly she got transformed into a nighclub. Last years is was obvious she wasn 't well maintained anymore. I lived in the neighbourhood for many years so I passed her regularly and it was indeed sad to see her decline in these last years. She has been towed away now because fees weren 't paid anymore and she became a nuisance to the city.

I trawelled with that beautiful ship on her maiden voyage
in 1952, when she was southbound from Kirkenes. From Honningsvag to Hammerfest for my summer holiday, on a most beautiful summer day. And looking at her now......

Yes, especially when we can see just how lovely she once was. Better that she was broken up than abused like this.
