Very nice photo -- a fellow Viet Nam veteran although she spent far more time there than I did. A lot of VN veterans are passing away or getting cut up! At least the scrapping is in the U.S. Thanks for posting this.

Possible towing them to Corpus Christi, there is a big scrapyard for navy vessels, towing them from all over the US, all the old reserve fleet vessels which are sorted out are mostly towed there for cutting them up
